Wormwheel gearboxes go by several names, including 90-degree gearboxes, right position gearboxes, velocity reducers, worm gear reducers and worm drive gearboxes. Gear decrease boxes feature a gear arrangement in which a gear in the form of a screw, also referred to as a worm, meshes with a worm equipment.
